This study aims to discuss peniaphobia, or an excessive fear of poverty, which serves as one of the obstacles to marriage, through an analysis of QS. An-Nur verse 32 and a psychological approach. In this verse, Allah promises, "If they are poor, Allah will enrich them out of His bounty," which indicates that He guarantees sustenance for those who marry, even if they are in a state of financial hardship. This research employs a qualitative method with a literature study approach and a multidisciplinary perspective, referring to Qur'anic exegeses such as Tafsir Al-Qurthubi, Tafsir Al-Misbah, and Fi Zhilalil Qur'an, as well as scientific journals and social data. The findings reveal that fear of poverty in marriage is often exacerbated by social pressure, high economic expectations, and the influence of social media. A spiritual approach based on the teachings of the Qur'an can provide peace of mind and reduce anxiety. By integrating faith-based values with psychological support, individuals can overcome peniaphobia and build a more harmonious marital life.
