Author Guidelines

Submission Guidelines for the Liwaul Dakwah Journal
The submission guidelines for the Liwaul Dakwah journal are as follows:

Originality: Articles must be either conceptual papers or empirical research findings in Islamic studies that have not been previously published in any other media, whether in print or online format.

Formatting and Length: Manuscripts must be written in either Indonesian or English, using 12-point Candara font with 1.5 line spacing on A4 paper, and saved in Microsoft Word format (.rtf, .doc, or .docx). The length of the manuscript should be between 6,000 and 8,000 words.

Author Attribution: The author's name (without academic titles, positions, or official ranks) must be stated along with their full institutional affiliation (unabbreviated), institutional address, corresponding address, and email address.

Structure of Conceptual Articles: Conceptual articles must include a title, author name and identity, an abstract (maximum of 200 words) written in both Indonesian and English, keywords, an introduction (stating the research problem and scope, comprising 10% of the total manuscript length), methodology, main content or discussion, conclusion, and references.

Structure of Research Articles: Research-based articles must include a title, author name and identity, an abstract (approximately 200 words) written in both Indonesian and English, keywords, an introduction (stating the research problem and scope, comprising 10% of the total manuscript length), research methods, findings, discussion, conclusion, and references.

Editorial Review: Eligible manuscripts will be selected and edited by the editorial board to ensure compliance with the journal’s formatting and house style without altering the core substance of the text.

Transliteration: The writing of the article must adhere to the transliteration guidelines established by the Faculty of Ushuluddin, Adab, and Dakwah.

Citations and References: Footnotes and the reference list must be managed using the Mendeley citation management software.
