LITERATUR: Jurnal Bahasa dan Sastra is a peer-reviewed journal of language and literature published by the Tadris Bahasa Indonesia Study Program, Faculty of Tarbiyah and Teacher Training, Universitas Islam Negeri (UIN) Sultanah Nahrasiyah Lhokseumawe, Aceh, Indonesia (formerly Institut Agama Islam Negeri (IAIN) Lhokseumawe).
The journal was first published in 2019 with Volume 1, Number 1. It is registered with the online International Standard Serial Number e-ISSN 2715-2669 (portal.issn.org/resource/ISSN/2715-2669).
On 21 March 2025, the journal was accredited for the first time at Rank 5 (SINTA 5) by the Directorate of Research and Community Service, Ministry of Higher Education, Science, and Technology of the Republic of Indonesia, based on Decree No. 10/C/C3/DT.05.00/2025 (Journal Accreditation Ranking Period I 2025). The accreditation is valid from Volume 4, Number 2 (2022) to Volume 9, Number 1 (2027).
Since its first publication, LITERATUR: Jurnal Bahasa dan Sastra has been committed to disseminating research and scholarly works in the fields of language, literature, and language education.
